At Home LED, we are committed to providing high-quality LED lighting solutions to our customers. If you experience any issues with our products, we are here to assist.

Return Policy for Defective Products

If a product you purchased from us is found to have a manufacturing defect, we will replace it in accordance with the following terms:

  1. Eligibility for Replacement:
    • The product must have been purchased from Home LED, either directly through our website (www.homeled.co.nz) or one of our authorized distributors.
    • The defect must be due to a manufacturing fault and not caused by misuse, accidental damage, or improper installation.
  2. Timeframe for Returns:
    • All defective products must be reported within 30 days of discovery of the fault. Monaco fittings have a 7 year product warranty and so do the diamond range lights we install. This comes direct from the manufacturers.
    • Proof of purchase (e.g., an invoice or receipt) is required to process the return.
  3. Inspection Process:
    • Defective items will need to be inspected and approved by our team or the manufacturer before a replacement can be issued.
    • In some cases, we may request photos or additional details of the defect to expedite the process.
  4. Replacement Process:
    • Approved defective products will be replaced with the same or equivalent model, subject to stock availability.
    • If the product is no longer available, we will offer a suitable alternative or a refund.
  5. Return Shipping:
    • For products deemed defective under warranty, we will cover the cost of return shipping within New Zealand.

Non-Returnable Items:

Products damaged due to installation errors, unauthorized modifications, or improper use will not be eligible for return or replacement.

This policy is in addition to your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, which ensures that products sold are of acceptable quality and fit for purpose.
